Legal Notice
This document establishes the technical and operational privacy principles implemented across the Akshitha Edutech platform. It is subject to formal corporate legal review prior to general commercial availability.
1. Information We Collect
When you use our services, register as a student, apply for an internship, or submit an institutional inquiry, we may collect:
- Identity & Contact: Full name, email address, telephone number.
- Academic Information: College/university name, degree program, year of study, skills.
- Application Documents: PDF résumés (maximum 5 MB) and candidate cover notes.
- Institutional Information: Organisation name, designation, official website for employers, colleges, and NGOs.
2. How We Protect Résumés & Documents
All student résumés are stored in private, encrypted cloud storage buckets with strict Row Level Security (RLS). Résumés are never exposed through public URLs or web search engines. Authorized administrators access résumés exclusively via time-limited signed URLs (60-second expiration).
3. Data Sharing & Non-Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade student personal information or applicant data to third-party marketers, credit agencies, or advertising brokers. Student application data is shared solely with the specific verified employer hosting the relevant internship listing after candidate consent.
4. Data Retention & Erasure Rights
Student registration and application records are retained for academic tracking and audit compliance for up to 24 months, after which inactive records are subject to scheduled administrative review and secure deletion. In accordance with applicable data privacy principles, users may exercise their rights to data inspection, correction, or immediate erasure at any time by emailing privacy@akshithaedutech.com.
5. Cookies & Session Security
We use secure, HTTP-only cookies solely for maintaining administrative session state and protecting the platform against automated abuse. We do not employ intrusive cross-site tracking cookies.
